Biography
Baroness Lloyd of Effra CBE was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State (Minister for Space, Cyber and Regulatory Reform) jointly in the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) on 23 July 2026 and the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (BIST) on 22 July 2026.
She was previously Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) between 11 September 2025 and 22 July 2026. Before that, she was both Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and Baroness in Waiting (Government Whip) between 11 September 2025 and 12 June 2026.
